About

I am holding a Bachelor’s in Global Studies (cum laude) from Maastricht University. Currently I am pursuing my Master’s in Public Policy at Sciences Po Paris and Hertie School. My passion is to understand policy making processes and bridging societal groups and different cultures through an exchange of ideas and arguments.

Next to my studies, I am involved in a range of extracurricular and always searching for new challenges. In 2020, I co-founded an association dedicated to interdisciplinary exchange and fostering a community between international students, the Global Studies Community. I also served as ambassador and moderator for the Oxford Forum for International Development 2022. A year later, I co-founded, planned and executed a conference bringing together students, staff, and professors of Maastricht University to set the agenda for a more inclusive and sustainable learning environment. I am honoured to have contributed as a panellist and keynote speaker concerning interdisciplinarity, 21st-century learning, and global citizenship education at various symposiums and events.

For me, it is clear that youth engagement is vital to a more inclusive decision-making process within and between our societies. I am a Young European Ambassador bridging the EU and its eastern partnership countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, and the Republic of Moldova. In 2022, I helped organise the African European Youth Conference in Turin, fostering a platform for young people from both continents to exchange ideas and explore common ground. Currently, I am a Delegations Officer at Young European Leadership (YEL), helping select, train, and coordinate delegations to various conferences.
